Reason number 1 for this: all of the extra storage a full game download takes up! Digital storage is an expensive thing. I don't want to be spending the full retail price for a game, plus all the storage it takes up.
Reason number 2: owning physical copies is a delight in itself! I look at my stack of Wii/Wii U games (pictured above) and I can't help but feel a little proud. Plus, they're easier to show off [insert winking emoticon here]. I'm not just saying that, either; I've gotten plenty of comments from people on my physical games collection, and they usually don't even know that I have plenty of other Virtual Console/download-only games too.
So I will continue to not support full retail game downloads, even though Nintendo promotes the heck out of them. What's your preference? Feel free to leave your opinion in a comment below!
